Club facilities include bar and restaurant, swimming pool, 9 hole golf course, picnic and camping spots (along the Eworogo river), kids playground, horse rides, meeting areas, bungalows and shipping container rooms (a must try !) and lots of space for sporting or outdoor activities.

Located 50 min from Port Moresby along the picturesque Sogeri Road, the KoitakiCountry Club is a respected, local institution. The club sits on the site of what was at the turn of the 20th century a successful rubber plantation before undertaking various transformations (including being a Polo Cross club and a WWII field hospital) until your hosts Robert (Bob) and Sharon Bradshaw saw the property 7 years ago and with their family (you will meet Bob’s sister Roslyn when you check in at Reception) and local support created the garden and adventure haven that it is today.
The Koitaki Country Club is your easy introduction to the wonders of Sogeri and the Owen Stanley Ranges. A safe and perfect location to bring the family for a day of outdoor activities, history, adventure or a week of rest. At the Koitaki Country Club you can celebrate the milestones of life, lie by the pool and read a book or simply share a meal with friends.

With its close proximity to Owens Corner, The Koitaki Country Club is the perfect point to start or end your trek along the Kokada Trail and for those intrepid explorers who still have energy at the end of the trek, there is always our 9 hole golf course to challenge you further.

At the Koitaki Country Club, we have local knowledge, our staff come from Sogeri, we take safety and our guest comfort seriously. We also believe that accommodation can be fun, we believe in affordable, clean and simple accommodation, but we don’t compromise on comfort ! We have two options, both self contained and with tea and coffee making facility: spend a night in one of our cabins or for guests travelling alone or couples sharing, there is the option of our ‘containers’ - the journey of the containers along the Sogeri Road, is another story that will go down in local legend !
